We recently returned from Turkey, where, as representatives of the TourPressClub in the EU countries, we took part in the Antalya Tourism Fair, held in Antalya on October 27 and 28.

ANTALYA TOURISM FAIR
Despite the restrictions associated with the pandemic, the exhibition brought together nearly 2,000 international tourism professionals from 20 countries: national and international tour operators, offline and online travel agencies, accommodation facilities, airlines, transport companies, recreation companies, information technology, gastronomy and service providers, as well as financial institutions.
The goals of the fair organisers were to provide a successful face-to-face communication platform between tourism professionals, investors and entrepreneurs, as well as to represent Turkey’s leading tourism brands through professional B2B meetings.

Antalya Tourism Fair is a platform for all stakeholders in the tourism industry to share the latest developments and create opportunities for collaboration.
It also aimed to bring innovative understanding to tourism fairs with a new vision of Antalya, the heart of Turkish tourism.

Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) represented Alanya at the fair. Burhan Sili, Board Member of the Turkish Tourism Development Agency (TGA) and the Turkish Hoteliers’ Federation (TÜROFED) and Chairman of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTID), who shared his views on the event, said: “This is an important fair for Antalya and Alanya. At the same time, it is an event in which the representatives of our original markets are showing great interest. Face-to-face meetings, both psychologically and commercially, will break the barriers.”
“We think that this interest is connected with the efforts of representatives of foreign agencies associated with Antalya to develop their range of offers. When we look at the visitors, we see that the fair is occupied by tourism professionals from Russian-speaking countries, especially Russia and Ukraine.”
Mehmet Dahaoğlu, Vice President of ALTID and ALTAV, said: “Antalya Tourism Fair, which was organized for the third time in recent years by GMT Fuarcılık, has become an important event. Tour operators, agencies and hotel representatives, who are professionals in Antalya, showed great interest in the exhibition. We had useful meetings with representatives from abroad. We have received signals that 2022 will be better than the previous two years.”
In 2019, a similar event was already held. Last time more than 1000 representatives of the region from different countries gathered on the territory of the exhibition center. This year the scale was doubled. The program included thematic exhibitions dedicated to Turkish culture, architecture, business, medicine, gastronomy and other important industries.
REN GROUP HOLDING & LAREN HOTELS
It is interesting to note that not only existing hotel complexes were presented at the fair this year, but also future projects.

Great interest was shown in the new project of Laren Hotels Group (a subsidiary of Ren Group Holding).
Ren Group Holding was established in 2010 with the purpose of contributing to the design, construction as well as the sale of the development projects in Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Turkey.
At the fair, we spoke with Erfan Sajadehchi, Chairman of the Board of Ren Group Holding and Laren Hotels, about their new Laren Luxury Resort project, which is currently under construction.

“We have started construction of our new resort in Belek. Laren Luxury Resort consists of 32 elegant villas: 30 4-bedroom villas suitable for 8 guests and 2 Super luxury 8-bedroom villas suitable for 16 guests. The entire resort is designed with first class and quality materials.”
“Our resort will be fully equipped with the latest technology. Laren Luxury Resort will offer an enclave of secluded contemporary villas with stunning views and an array of luxury items, ideal for guests looking for a truly immersive Turkish getaway. The complex will also have an outdoor pool, indoor pool, children’s pool, warm water pool and a water park,” explained Erfan.

The resort is near Perge Historical city and distance to the resort’s Independent sand beach is 2 km. There will be a shuttle for transferring guests between the hotel and the beach. The distance from Antalya International Airport is 22 km and the most central point of the city is 35km.

“Our vision is to become the resort that provides the best service in Turkey by welcoming guests from various countries and those who are seeking exceptional experience,” said Erfan.

The uniqueness of the project also lies in the fact that it is possible to invest in it by becoming a shareholder at various stages of construction.
More information about the project and investment opportunities can be found at company’s official website: www.larenluxuryresort.com
Besides Laren Luxury Resort, Ren Group Holding is currently involved in two more projects: Laren City Hotel & SPA and Laren Mountain Paradise.
While these projects are under construction, travellers can enjoy existing Laren Hotels that are in operation. One of these is Laren Family Hotel & SPA.

“Laren Family Hotel & Spa is a boutique hotel situated in the elite area of Lara region of Antalya where we offer 3 concepts: all inclusive, half board as well as bed and breakfast to our customers,” added Erfan.
Another property is Laren Seaside Hotel & SPA. “Also based in Lara region, this hotel was fully renovated in 2019 and has 40 elegant rooms at disposal for guests coming from all over the world.”

“Our goal is to guide this hospitality sector with creative and unique ideas and Laren Luxury Resort and our other properties try to encompass all of the latest features and unique elements to achieve that,” concluded Erfan.
CALISTA LUXURY RESORT
During our stay in Antalya, the organisers of Antalya Tourism Fair accommodated us at the Calista Luxury Resort, which was one of the sponsors of the fair.
This upscale beach resort of circular glass buildings enjoys a prime location on Turkey’s sparkling turquoise coastline in Belek. In addition to indoor and outdoor pools, Calista Luxury Resort boasts a private pier, lush gardens and a variety of dining options. The chic rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies, flat-screen TVs, minibars and hot drinks facilities. Superior rooms have lounges and pull-out sofas. Spacious suites and spacious villas feature hot tubs, dining areas and, in some cases, private pools. There is a cinema, bowling and tennis courts, as well as a football pitch and shaded children’s playgrounds. There is also a two-story spa and a kids club.
